Nuh Calls Upon His Lord

After 950 years, Allah told Nuh no more would believe. Nuh prayed:

"My Lord, do not leave upon the earth any inhabitant from among the disbelievers." (Nuh 71:26)

Allah Commands the Ark

"And construct the ship under Our observation and Our inspiration, and do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned." (Hud 11:37)

Nuh built the Ark on dry land, far from any sea. Every time the chiefs passed by, they mocked him.

He was to take aboard: a pair of every species, his family (except those decreed against), and the believers. Only a few believed.
