The Response of the Elite

The chiefs (al-mala') argued: He is just a human, not an angel. Only the lowest people follow him. They accused him of being a liar.

This pattern repeats with every prophet: the wealthy reject the message because it threatens their status, while the humble accept it.

Nuh's Methods

He called them publicly and privately, day and night. He warned them and encouraged them. But they put fingers in their ears, covered themselves, and grew more arrogant.

The Promise of Blessings

«اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا × يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا»

"Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send rain to you in abundance." (Nuh 71:10-11)

Istighfar (seeking forgiveness) opens the doors of provision: rain, wealth, children, gardens, rivers.

The elite demanded he expel the poor believers. Nuh refused absolutely.
